What is a Facilitator and what do they do?

 

Facilitator literally means.... 'Making Things Easy'....... A person who helps a group or team to achieve results in interactive events by using a range of skills and methods to bring out the best in people as they work together.

 

A Facilitator will focus on the process of how

Undertaking any form of review, change or improvement within an organisation can sometimes appear a daunting task. It requires planning, commitment and tremendous effort to 'get things going and maintain momentum' especially where there may be a level of resistance.

 

Adeni's experienced Facilitators can make the process easy by acting as an independent party ensuring that time is well spent and all individuals are engaged, empowered and contribute. Understanding the clients business and their objective is key to the success of facilitation and we use a range of techniques to achieve positive outcomes whilst ensuring the experience is 'fun' for all.

Whether you are reviewing your Business Plan, Mission Statement, Values, or seeking to change the way you work or consult with staff, Board or other third parties, Adeni can provide the catalyst for success

Whatever the event, our Facilitators will discuss and agree the outcome required then form a clear interactive programme. This could range from taking full responsibility for organising and running the process to simply being an observer, providing advice, guidance and feedback at pre-determined stages.

 

One thing is for certain...... The Adeni approach ensures everyone has the opportunity to participate and that it will be an enjoyable experience.

 

We have a wide range of 'Icebreakers' which help people relax and feel comfortable and many 'techniques' for identifying individuals strengths and areas for training. Using this knowledge we are able to build confidence in individuals and enhance team working leading to improved performance. One of the key areas we reinforce is respect for each other and how to address differing views. 

 

We promote the use of 'flip charts' to record important points and the use of 'post its' for individuals to note their own thoughts, emotions and innovations.

 

Our Facilitation process leads to making sure the pieces of the jigsaw fit together and that when completed, none of the pieces are missing!
